SAM is looking for new resident Board Members

Springfield Avenue Partnership (aka SAM) is looking for up to 3 dedicated community volunteers to join our non-profit Board of Trustees. The Board oversees the organization, helping to insure that SAM succeeds in promoting the Springfield Avenue corridor and its businesses.

Joining the Board is a fun, impactful way of shaping the future of Springfield Avenue and helping your community

Minimum requirements:
Maplewood resident
18+
Interest and familiarity with Springfield Avenue Maplewood
Attendance at monthly in-person Board meeting on the 3rd Monday of the month (6PM)
Commitment to join an additional committee (about 1-2 hours/month)
Ability to serve on the Board for at least two years

Commercial or residential real estate
Community engagement
Fundraising
Small business law or real estate law
Urban planning/design
