Maplewood Summer of Soccer Promo: The Township and SAM will be promoting World Cup tie-ins events at local businesses!
--June 11—Mexico in Maplewood Day—celebrate the World Cup opening match of Mexico (co-host) vs. South Africa @ 3PM.
We encourage businesses to promote food and drinks celebrating Mexico. Please let us know what you have planned and if you will be showing the game.
--June 12—US Opener--the opening match for Team US vs. Paraguay! Please let us know what you have planned and if you will be showing the game.
Community Fridge Update
The Township has closed the Community Fridge on Springfield Avenue at Indiana and is relocating food distribution services to the new Maplewood Health Department and Community Support Center at 129 Boyden Avenue.
This new location expands access to essential health and social services, including a new food distribution model, creating a central, welcoming place where residents can get the support they need. See the attached flyer for more details or visit the Maplewood Health Department's website.
Maplewood Farmers Market
The Farmers Market returns Monday, June 1 and runs every Monday from 2-7 pm until November.
1662 Springfield Avenue (near the Springfield Gazebo).
Springfield Avenue merchants are invited to vend at the market! There is a spot for Springfield Avenue merchants on a rotating basis, at no cost.
